# Component library

Browse the accepted state of your design system, outside a single run.

## Open the library
Open your project and choose **Library**. It groups the components and stories in the current baseline by their Storybook titles. Search to find a component, then select a story and its variant.

The library shows accepted reference images, not an unreviewed working copy of the latest commit. Establish a baseline first if it is empty.

## Inspect a story
Choose its browser, viewport, or mode variant to see the accepted appearance. Where available, the story also shows accessibility findings and links to the runs in which it changed.

Use the history to understand when a design changed and open the source run for its full review context. A missing historical image or expired interactive build does not imply the current accepted image is missing.

## Open the interactive build
For a retained supported build, switch to Live or choose **Open in Storybook**. Check the selected run: the interactive build and an older accepted image can come from different points in history. The build selector lets you choose the available context.

## Native library
For native projects in preview, select Android or iOS to browse that platform's accepted stories. Devices and modes are separate variants. Native screenshots do not gain web Live or DOM inspection just because they appear in the library.

## If a story is absent
Check whether it was skipped, renamed, removed, or never accepted on the baseline branch. New unaccepted stories belong in the run review first; accepting the appropriate default-branch result adds them to the reference library.
