# Notifications

Choose where your team hears about runs and review requests.

## GitHub comments
Project notification settings control whether Framecheck comments on pull requests always, only for changes, or not at all. The default is changes only. Framecheck updates its PR comment rather than posting a new message for every result.

Comments are separate from GitHub checks. Turning comments off does not disable the check.

## Slack
Add a Slack-compatible endpoint in project notification settings using a Slack incoming-webhook URL. Choose the events you want, such as changes needing review or run failures. Treat the incoming-webhook URL as a secret.

Slack delivery uses the Slack message format, not Framecheck's signed JSON webhook format. Use [webhooks](/webhooks/) for your own application.

## Webhook endpoints
A project can have up to five endpoints. Select events, send a test delivery, and inspect the delivery log before depending on an integration. Notifications do not change the underlying run or review result.

## Daily email digest
The company can opt into a daily digest sent to its confirmed billing email. Check that the address is verified and appropriate for the people who should receive these updates.

## Troubleshoot a missing message
Check the selected events, endpoint state, and delivery log. A failed endpoint may be paused after repeated delivery failures. Fix its URL or receiver, test it, and resume it if needed. Redelivery is available for retained delivery records, which are kept for 30 days.
